Alex Hill, M.Ed., LDT

5th Grade Teacher · Dyslexia Therapist

I have called Jackson Mississippi home since I was six years old. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development from Mississippi State University followed by a master’s degree in Dyslexia Therapy from Mississippi College. Since 2020, I have been dedicated to providing dyslexia therapy in the Jackson area, helping children overcome challenges and reach their best potential through the Orton Gillingham Method.

The past several years I have spent at Magnolia Speech School as a dyslexia therapist and worked with children with a variety of speech and language disorders. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and of course my three dogs and two cats. I also enjoy trying to learn new activities like stained glass and knitting, which let me relax and express my creativity.

Furthermore I love traveling and exploring new places. I am very much looking forward to calling Ocean Springs home!
