Mrs. Christin Breland is from Vancleave, MS. She earned her Associates of Arts Degree at MGCCC, Perkinston Campus, where she was a member of the Women’s Soccer Team. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. Mrs. Breland is entering her tenth year as an educator. She began her career in Education by teaching both Math and Science at the Elementary Level in Petal and then in George County.
Mrs. Breland later served at the High School level as the Varsity Head Soccer Coach of Vancleave High School while teaching Science, Computer Science, Visual Art and Biology Inclusion. Christin resides in Vancleave with her husband, Patrick Breland, and their three children, one of whom struggles with dyslexia.
Mrs. Breland is passionate about the future of Dyslexia Education on the Gulf Coast and at Lighthouse Academy for Dyslexia.
