Wendy Luscy B.A. Dyslexia Therapy Intern

Mrs. Wendy Luscy is from New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her AA in Early Childhood from Nunez Community College and her Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Tulane University. She taught at a school in New Orleans specializing in meeting the needs of students with learning differences, after her son was diagnosed with dyslexia and dysgraphia.
In 2005 she moved with her family to the Gulf Coast and taught at a local private school. She is currently attending William Carey’s Master’s program for Dyslexia Therapy. Wendy has worked with children for over 20 years with dyslexia. This will be Wendy’s 2nd year here at Lighthouse.
When she is not teaching she enjoys a good book or the beach with her husband Todd. She also enjoys visiting her children Amanda, Ashlyn, Meghan, and Kody, and 3 grandchildren Connor, Peyton, and Riley.
