Wendy Luscy, M.Ed. CALT, Dyslexia Therapist
Mrs. Wendy Luscy holds a Bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and a Master’s degree in Dyslexia Therapy from William Carey University. She is a Certified Academic Language Therapist with over 20 years of experience working with children with dyslexia.
Her passion for supporting students with learning differences began when her son was diagnosed with dyslexia and dysgraphia. This led her to teach at a specialized school in New Orleans focused on helping students with unique learning needs. In 2005, she and her family relocated to the Gulf Coast, where she continued her work at a local private school.
Now in her sixth year at Lighthouse, Mrs. Luscy remains committed to empowering students through individualized instruction and evidence-based practices.
Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time at the beach with her husband, Todd. She also treasures visits with her children—Amanda, Ashlyn, Meghan, and Kody—and her five grandchildren.
